Dealers, trialsmasters, demo groups, legal issues, other sanctioning bodies, if you have something you want the New England trials community to know about send it to me EMAIL and I'll post it. Just remember this web site is a service that is individual, brand, club and dealer agnostic. Be nice.

Just a note about the classifieds. Dealer ads are fine for specific bikes but let's not get into that "Call for best price" stuff. If you advertise it put a price on it.
Due to spam ads appearing in the classifieds section (get rich quick while working at home in you're spare time in the bath sort of thing) anything posted to the classifieds will have to be "approved" by me. This means your ad won't show up immediately but in a day or so. Sorry but I'm going to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand. Dan

newenglandtrials.org does not send unsolicited EMAILS unless it's something really cool like trials on TV or bad like an event cancellation and we will never send anything with an attachment unless pre-arranged. If you get unsolicited EMAIL from a newenglandtrials.org address with an attachment delete it.  It's not from newenglandtrials.org.

NETA Events are held with the kind permission of landowners and public officials. Do not jeopardize the future use of venues by unauthorized riding. If in doubt contact the sponsoring club.

More from Scott at Moto Connection (better news this time)

Hey Trials Fans!

Just a quick heads-up....  Moto Connection is going green - well OSSA green that is!  We are proud to announce that Moto Connection is now an official dealer for all modern OSSA motorcycles!  We should have a brand new 2012 Ossa TR280i trials bike on the showroom floor late next week!  Super cool bike - fuel injected, clean-sheet design, lightest regular production trials bike available, Ohlins shock, high-boy airbox, the list goes on....  You can see all the details, specs, and photos on our website under MotoTrials - Ossa....

I will have try to have the new 2012 280 available for demo rides right away - so contact me if you are interested.  Also should be able to show it off at the NETA banquet in late January as well - so make sure to check it out there if you happen to attend.

We will also be carrying the new Ossa Explorer - a hybrid trials/enduro bike - same cool engine and chassis as the 280i along with a comfy seat and long range fuel tank.  This bike should be available late spring, early summer...Pics and details of this bike is also on our website under the Off-Road menu.

Additionally we will have the new Ossa 250 & 300cc 2-stroke enduro bikes.  These bikes will have fuel injection, electric start, reversed cylinder, clean sheet design, Ohlins suspension, etc....  Hopefully they will be available as 2013 models - stay tuned for more info...  Early release info is currently available on our website under the Off-Road tab

It looks like Gas Gas is not the only manufacturer looking at Trials riders as a good market for electric motorcycles. Philippe Aresten, the president of Scorpa from 2001 to 2007, started Montpellier, France based Electric Motion and plans to bring the EM 5.7 to market.

NETA does not recognize bicycle helmets, climbing helmets or hard hats for competition. Only real motorcycle helmets. Yeah yeah we've heard it all. They're expensive, they're uncomfortable, they're hot... Blah blah blah. It's the rule and it just might save your life.
