COURSE MARKING

These files are not considered as standard by NETA but I have been using them for many years and haven't lost anybody in the woods yet. They are presented as an aid to anybody that wishes to use them. I print these signs out on fluorescent card stock (I'm partial to Wausau-Astrobrights) using an old HP laser printer that has a straight thru paper path. If they are likely to be in the woods for any length of time I will laminate them with letter size 3 mil heat pouches. Don't buy laminating supplies at "Friendly local office store" as they will charge you $50 for 100 pouches when you can get them on-line (Amazon) for $9.00 for 100. Traditionally I'll print warning and informational signs on orange stock, section pointers in yellow and road crossings in red. Loop arrows on whatever stands out the best. The section pointers can be printed on opposite sides of the card stock so when they are cut you have an arrow that can point in either direction. A rotary cutter makes short work of card stock even with laminating film.

If you want these in something other then PDF or any customization like club name just let me know.
