Dear Ladies and Gentleman,
My name is Todd Runion. I'm from Epping NH and am a member with New Durham
Valley ATV club. We are a State of NH recognized club and are part of NHOHVA.
Our website is http://www.newdurhamvalleyatvclub.com/ It offers just basic info at the
moment.
I'm writing to you to let you know that NDVATV does allow our trail system to be
used by off road motorcycle riders. We currently offer 28 scenic miles of trail.
Sort of a little bit of everything for any ability and age group. Maybe a little
mild for the advanced riders. For those not familiar with our location. We are
just a few miles south of Alton Bay Lake Winnipesauke.
But why I thought of you and your group is from my life long fascination with
Trials. I have never ridden Trials. I was a MX racer for 10 years with lots of
wins and all the aches and pains that go with them now at 45. I have always had
a keen eye for terrain and obstacles, so there have been many times I seen a
pile of boulders or logs or some hill or slab that i thought would be fun for
trials riders to play on right up at our riding area in Alton NH. I'm willing to
guess that there are hundreds of spots up there that could offer beginners and
better lots of hours of practice riding. We do have a couple of large parking
area's available off of Rines Road in Alton. There are a few class VI roads that
are maintained and smooth that pass threw the property. We do encourage most to
park in the main parking lot, but we realize the limit of the trails bike gas
tank. There are numerous area's off the class VI roads were tow vehicles can
pull off to the side and unload closer to obstacles or terrain they want to
ride.
We know all to well how difficult it is to find legal riding spots these days.
I'm sure the Observed Trials community has the same problems. Now I'm not here
only to create more traffic at our growing trail system, there is a sales pitch
to go along with this. We don't charge for parking and there are no fee's to
ride on this private property. We do not require anyone to attend our club
meetings or work parties. We don't require anyone to join our club.
But all that said, we do appreciate very much when we do get new folks to join
our club, help with trail maintenance or club events and encourage all to come
to our club meetings. Membership cost is very economical. Single $15 per year.
Family up to 4 $25 per year. No monies received from memberships or donations go
into any members pocket. It all goes into the club fund and is used to build new
trails and maintain new and old as well as the equipment used to do said
maintenance. We also use the funds to feed at times hundreds of hungry riders at
our special weekend charity fund raisers.
If you have the time to explore some additional info, I have created accounts on
New England Dirtbikes and ThumperTalk forums and will link these for you.

sounds like something we could both benefit from, please pass it along to your
members.
Thank you
